Darryl Hoxie - Construction and Recovery Project Manager
Darryl Hoxie is a Louisiana-based construction and recovery project manager whose work spans residential, industrial, and public infrastructure settings. Based in Westwego, he has worked with Legacy Industries since 2017, managing projects assigned after storm and disaster events. Darryl Hoxie’s responsibilities have included coordinating crews, reviewing sites, working with property owners, and sourcing needed materials for repair and restoration work.
Mr. Hoxie has served as program manager for the Restore Louisiana program for the past three years. In that role, he has overseen work involving more than 700 homes affected by Hurricane Ida. He has also managed the Transform 386 program in Daytona Beach, Florida, and led environmental cleanup jobs in California, Tennessee, and Florida.
Earlier in his career, he owned Oracle Construction for 20 years. He worked on custom homes in Jackson, Wyoming, and municipal sewer plants and water depots in North Dakota. He also helped develop hotels, RV parks, and a school project in Baton Rouge with an 84-person crew. The school project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
Mr. Hoxie is a licensed general contractor with training in water restoration and environmental safety. His personal interests include dog training, travel, and horse rescue work.
